The Development and Marketing Intern will support the development and implementation of PCM’s annual fundraising efforts. The Development and Marketing Intern will additionally support efforts to further expand PCM’s digital content and online presence with the goal of connecting our community, specifically focusing on communications around summer programs and fall registration. Importantly, the Development and Marketing Intern will support the engagement of our alumni network. This position will work 25-30 hours per week and is an in-person internship from June through September.
The Development and Marketing Intern should have strong writing skills and should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Applicants should also be comfortable creating digital content; some knowledge of graphic design is a plus. The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts, with an interest in music education a plus. Intern should be self-motivated and comfortable working individually and in a team environment. They will work well in highly collaborative settings. Administrative experience with corporate email and computer skills is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, Zoom and other virtual formats; familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
