This position will support arts engagement in Los Angeles by elevating artists with developmental disabilities via Tierra del Sol Gallery in West Hollywood. This position will work approximately 20 hours per week, June through October. The gallery operates Tuesday through Saturday, 10 - 6 pm with opportunities for occasional events outside those hours. Tierra will work with the intern to create a schedule that works within these hours.
Tierra is looking for someone with a passion for art and social justice, is self-motivated, can work independently or collaboratively, and is able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, expanding environment. Based on public health guidance and Tierra policy, applicants should be comfortable working in person as needed and/or meeting via Zoom. Tierra is a drug- and alcohol-free work environment.
