Description

The Development Intern will have the exciting opportunity to work with one of the nation's leading film arts nonprofits and will support the overall functions of Film Independent’s Development team, including prospect research, donor renewal support, partnership fulfillment and assisting with the overall functions of the department. The intern will also support the Membership department, including their monthly events and renewals process. This position will work roughly 20 hours a week from October 2022 through February 2023. 

Qualifications

Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must have experience using Mac platforms and Microsoft Office and possess excellent organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects. Applicants should have a professional and friendly office demeanor and must be comfortable working with the public. Knowledge of and interest in film and/or the arts in Los Angeles is a plus. Evening and weekend hours will be required for special event coverage and intern must be able to provide their own transportation.
