Join a small and exciting nonprofit venue that supports emerging artists with affordable housing, artist residencies and exhibition opportunities, as well as a community festival celebrating Los Angeles creatives through art, music,poetry, film and food. This position will work approximately 15 hours each week from June 2024 through December 2024 and support the event production and associated marketing efforts of a small nonprofit. Candidates should be prepared to work three days per week, including availability on weekends and the occasional late night.
Excellent communication, writing skills, and knowledge of basic office software such as Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace as well as basic design software such as Canva are a must. Design and marketing skills are preferred, including experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Wordpress. Although not required, most successful candidates have some prior experience in a museum, gallery, or event setting.
