"TeAda Productions seeks a Programs and Marketing Intern. We require an intern with an interest in program and performance production. They must be comfortable meeting people from diverse backgrounds and communicating in-person, on the phone, virtually and via email. Excellent writing ability is preferred. They should possess strong organizational and planning skills with an ability to coordinate schedules and perform outreach. An ideal intern would be a self-starter interested in the organizational and business end of the arts.
This position will work approximately 15-20 hours per week, beginning in June 2024 ending in March 2025."
The intern will preferably understand a Mac system and the basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel), Google Suite, and Photoshop is a plus. There will be occasional weekend and evening hours. They must have access to a car and a valid CA driver’s license, and/or be comfortable with taking public transit.
TeAda is a nomadic theater of color, rooted in the stories of immigrants and refugees. A pioneer in social justice theater, TeAda has developed multiple programs and theater productions that seek to empower communities of color.
