KCRW is looking for an organized, hardworking, creative, and passionate intern to join our Membership department in Summer 2024, from June to August. The Membership Intern will work with the Head of Membership for approximately 40 hours/week from June to August to support the department through the expansion of our member acquisition and member engagement, helping with campaigns to acquire diverse members through social media and email campaigns, and assisting with in-person tabling and canvassing during KCRW summer events. The Membership Intern will work with KCRW’s full Membership department that works closely with the Marketing, Events, Communications, Social Media/Marketing, and Development departments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the Membership department and public radio operations at one of the country’s most well-known stations. We plan for this internship to be hybrid, taking place in-person at our Media Center in Santa Monica and remotely.
- Familiarity with survey tools and tactics - Familiarity with Google Workplace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.) - Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets experience - Strong writing skills - Strong interpersonal communication skills (in email, on the phone) - Database/data entry experience preferred
