The Literary Community Intern will support and participate in activities that enhance the community of writers within the UCLA Extension Writers' Program. Activities include event coordination, event logistics, copywriting and editing written materials for the public, participation in development of marketing materials, and more. Specific tasks can be tailored to the intern's skills and internship goals. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week from June through February.
Applicants should be familiar with internet browsers for research, basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Zoom. Graphic design or audio/video processing interest and experience is a plus. Applicants should have an interest in creative writing, literature, screenwriting, motion pictures, television, or editing and publishing.
