Description

The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony is seeking an energetic, personable intern to assist in the production of a symphony concert and an education outreach program, "A Patchwork of Cultures: Exploring the Sephardic-Latino Connection."  The intern must have excellent organizational skills, familiarity with standard Microsoft programs, social media and graphics software, and an interest in arts marketing and promotion. Love of music (as well as any musical experience) is a plus.   This position will work approximately 20 hours a week from July 2024 through February 2025.
 

Qualifications

The intern should have some knowledge of regular office tasks and workflow, be a team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.  Essential skills include: knowledge of standard Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and facility in employing social media (Facebook, Instagram and X).   Expertise with Photoshop, Publisher and other graphics software is also desirable. Video editing skills are helpful but not necessary; they can be learned in the course of the internship.
