Description

The Adminstrative Intern will work in a fast-paced environment w/ youth ages 8-18, and staff who are industry experts who both train and mentor. All interns serve as a mentor and role models for the students. The position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and the ability to be an integral part of a team. The intern is given real-life challenges and critical timelines to meet the requirements for a successful production. Our interns often interface with our community, industry representatives, and civic leaders serving as the right hand for the Admin/Managing Director. Great organizational and technical skills with Social Media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, Photoshop, and Canva are highly desired. The intern will work approx. 15-20 hours per week beginning from early June 2023 until late February 2025 based on availability, some evenings may be involved

AGC provides culturally competent year-round youth development programs that promote access and develop pathways for emerging talent, diverse voices, and underrepresented youth to explore careers in arts, entertainment, and the creative industry as well as an array of various career paths, such as community leadership, social media, and culturally relevant messaging. AGC uses the performing arts (acting, dance, voice, spoken word, creative writing, video production, and media arts) as a conduit for self-expression and building self-esteem.
