The Development Internship at the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) is an opportunity to learn about marketing, business, and event planning in a dynamic work environment with seasoned musicians, producers, business professionals, and community leaders. An internship with FASO is an opportunity to learn about high level music production while being a contribution to the community by giving voice to its culture. This internship will work approximatley 20-30 hours per week from June through October.
The intern should be a self-motivated, highly focused, and team oriented person with event planning experience preferred. An interest in the arts and community-building is preferred but not required. The intern is expected to take an active role in understanding and supporting all aspects of the organization in order to better inform and supplement their experience.
The Filipino American Symphony Orchestra is community orchestra that serves to provide access and reduce barriers to cultural participation for communities of color through symphony music production and education.
