Description

The Production & Marketing Internship candidate will will work closely with Mohammed Ojarigi, Greenway's Producing Director, as well as with Whitney Weston, Co-Artistic Director, to provide part-time production and marketing support for the Greenway Court Theatre. This position will work approximately 15-20 hours a week from June 2022 through February 2023. The Intern will be working on an archival project in preparation for the organization's 25th Anniversary, among other tasks. This project will include compiling all of the past GCT show information for Greenway archives, researching shows and finding lost photos and video, uploading and designing an archive "Past Shows" section of the website, working together with the MTP Marketing Intern on a "Throwback" campaign highlighting past shows and "Fun Facts" on social media, and participating in designing an area of the Theatre highlighting the history for audiences, as well as other duties as assigned. The position will work approximatley 15-20 hours a week from June through February.

Qualifications

The Producing Intern will possess strong written and oral communication skills and should be comfortable with working with a diversity of people. S/he is self-motivated and flexible in performing a myriad of tasks. Previous experience in event coordination and/or theatre producing is a plus. S/he should have a desire to learn the basics of producing and marketing. The intern should be fluent with computers (PC/Mac), Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Internet research and online social networking.
