Kaya Press is seeking a Resource Guide / Academic Outreach intern that would help develop dynamic teaching guides based on our list of innovative Asian Pacific American and Asian diasporic books. This position will be critical to integrating these teaching resources into our website, as well as doing outreach to share these resources to academics, schools, and arts organizations. The Resource Guide / Academic Outreach intern will work approximately 15 hours per week from June 2024 to March 2025.
Beyond an interest in literature and publishing, we are looking for candidates with an interest in and facility for writing and research; an understanding of how to create spreadsheets and presentations; and critical thinking abilities. Interest in or curiosity about teaching/education a plus.
