The Arts Education Intern will develop an interactive component, lesson plan, or remote learning module for one of the Museum's upcoming artistic response exhibitions. The Intern will be free to design the project within the exhibition's goals. The Museum of Social Justice is a collaborative work environment perfect for students comfortable taking the initiative and being creative. The position is designed to be approximately 25 hours per week from June through October, but this time frame could be adjusted based on the Intern's availability and schedule.
Interns will be expected to research their projects using academic sources and post about their projects and experiences on the Museum's social media.
The Museum of Social Justice tells the stories of marginalized groups in Los Angeles. Through our exhibitions and programming, we strive to inspire visitors to advocate for social transformation in their communities.
