Description

We invite you to join us as a CreARTive Collective Intern where you will help organize, implement and support arts classes and workshops for our participants, adults with special needs. You will help them learn new skills, creatively express themselves, and experience the joy of the arts through classes taught by contracted professional artists.  You will learn about the nonprofit sector and the special needs community, and gain skills in arts programming, planning, communication and teamwork.   CreARTive Collective (CC) programming and Intern hours will take place during the program hours of M-F, 10am-3pm in-person, on the campus at New Horizons. We are open to working with you starting in July 2024 (through Feb. 2025) to create a flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week that matches the CC program needs. 
 

Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years or older. A background check and TB test is required for this internship.
