The Education Intern at A Noise Within will support the production of the Summer with Shakespeare theatre camp for youth and research and develop study guides for classic plays, in addition to coordinating a professional development event for educators. This position will work approximately 40 hours a week from June through August.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts and a desire to promote theatre education. Previous experience in performing arts and a liberal arts focus with demonstrated interest in classic literature and theatre is preferred. Previous experience working with children is a plus. The following are requirements for the position: Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort working both individually and in a team environment Research skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Willingness to take initiative
