Boston Court Pasadena's Literary Intern will provide administrative and creative support to the development of new plays by local emerging artists. The intern will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of responsibilities, including reading script submissions, coordinating event details, writing for marketing materials, attending play rehearsals, and many others. This position will work approximatly 30 hours a week from June to September.
This internship is best suited to students who enjoy or possess interest in reading, writing, analyzing and offering their keen perspective on the artistic merits of written works. Having a general interest in the production aspect of theater or live performances would add value to this internship. Under the guidance of BCP’s Literary Manager, the intern will design a learning experience that uses their current skill sets in ways that challenge them to grow professionally.
