The Fund Development and Marketing Intern will receive hands-on experience in developing and implementing special donor events. The intern will take a leadership role in crafting donor language and promotional materials. Also, the intern will support the casting and artistic content for each event. Finally, the intern will be responsible for tracking the expenses of each event and ensuring it stays within budget. This is a part-time internship from August to December 2024 for approximately 20 hours per week including some weekends and evenings.
Theatre West welcomes and encourages applicants from all academic backgrounds. The ideal applicant will have an appreciation for live theatre with an interest in fundraising and marketing. They should be proactive, organized, resourceful, and feel comfortable generating and sharing ideas for continual improvement. Knowledge of MS OfficeSuite Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphic design software are all very helpful. Strong research skills, writing ability, and comfortable using social media platforms are key.
