We are seeking an intern to work closely with WORDTheatre's Executive Director, to help design and implement development initiatives. These initiatives will be primarily focused on fundraising for WORDTheatre Campus, their literary arts education program. This position will be in-person and part-time for the summer of 2024. Ideally the candidate will work 20-30 hours each week from June to September.
Qualifications: Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in a field such as management, communications, English/writing, business, entertainment, or a related area. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research and analytical skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Excel, and Microsoft and familiarity with grant management software is a plus. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva), and strong literacy skills Demonstrated passion for the WORDTheatre’s mission and values. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of nonprofit development.
