Audrey Chan is a socially engaged feminist artist who develops projects based on issues of language and political and cultural identities. Chan’s multidisciplinary practice includes public performances, text installations, video, book making, murals and symposiums. Chan received her MFA in Art from the California Institute of the Arts. She has received the Emerging Artist Fellowship from the California Community Foundation and an Artists’ Resource for Completion Grant from the Center for Cultural Innovation.
