LA County Free Summer Concerts

Adelaide is a Top 40 band that can play Latin Top 40, English Top 40, or a mix of both. Their music includes songs from artists such as Selena, Maná, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Donna Summers, Journey, Gloria Estefan, and more. Adelaide also performs two tribute shows. The first is a tribute to Selena—an hour-long show featuring Selena’s hits (along with costumes). The second is Latin Ladies Live: a Ttribute to Shakira, JLo, Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz, and Selena. Latin Ladies Live is a 90 minute show along with costume changes.
Written in both Spanish and English, Nancy Sanchez and her musical group perform her songs in a variety of styles for any occasion, from singer-songwriter, jazz standards and originals, mariachi, regional Mexican, pop, bossa nova and more. Nancy has the ability to create both a powerful festival sound and a warm sound more appropriate for intimate gatherings. Her musical group includes both electric and acoustic instruments.
Directed and founded by trumpet player Cindy Shea in 1999, under the musical direction of Grammy® Award- winning Alberto "Beto" Jimenez Maeda, the Mariachi Divas have made big waves on the national and international music scene. A two-time Grammy® Award winner, with five Grammy® nominations and two Latin Grammy® nominations, the Mariachi Divas are a multicultural all-female ensemble imbued with the true flavor of Los Angeles. In addition, the Mariachi Divas have been performing regularly at Disneyland Resort since 2003.
The L.A. Bluescasters have performed their music in standard blues, rock, jazzy blues, and swing styles. The music includes covers of artists like Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Allman Brothers.

Nichelle Monroe & Butterfly is a Los Angeles-based ensemble presenting a unique genre of “gourmet soul” music: a fresh infusion of jazz and soul fired together in a pot of funky beats. The ensemble performs a mix of classic ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s soul and jazz favorites with their original tunes. Nichelle’s sultry vocals sooth, while percussive drum beats and groovy bass and guitar lines energize audiences to move.
Upstream started in the Twin Islands of Trinidad and Tobago and have been performing in the U.S. for over 20 years. Their talent, creativity and vision are astounding! The band plays an indescribably fascinating blend of reggae, calypso, soca and steelpan music! Each of the musicians bring various seasonings to the pot!
Accompanied by her accordion, her toy piano and a fiery band, LA-based chanteuse and songwriter Jessica Fichot draws from her multi-ethnic French/Chinese/American heritage to create an intoxicating multilingual fusion of French chanson, Shanghai jazz, gypsy swing and international folk With 3 acclaimed albums under her belt ("Le Chemin", "Le Secret" and "Dear Shanghai"), Jessica has brought her music to audiences around the world–regularly performing in China, Mexico, Canada, Western Europe and the U.S..
The Brasil Brazil Show is an invigorating, magical experience comprised of internationally renowned performers that features Brazilian singers Ana Gazzola and Sonia Santos. This show delivers the fervor, enthusiasm, and excitement of popular Brazilian music with a variety of styles, rhythms, and faces of this colorful (and tropical) culture. With a variety of unique and authentic percussion instruments, audiences are both entertained and educated about Brazil. The band is outfitted in bright yellow and green costumes and the production has the joyful feel of Carnaval.
The Susie Hansen Band plays Afro-Cuban Latin jazz and salsa with Susie Hansen on electric jazz violin and vocals. Her band has three lead vocalists, a dynamic Latin rhythm section and a horn section of tenor sax/flute, trombone and trumpet. They play great danceable salsa, cumbia, merengue, Latin jazz, mambo, cha cha cha, charanga, bolero, samba and more. They're a well-known and popular group in Southern California, playing 150 events per year since 1990. As Susie likes to say, “We aim for the feet!” They keep the dance floor full!
